I want to find out more about a relationship with God

That's great. You are in very good company. Lots of people in the Bible felt like you and many of those fortunate enough to actually see Jesus and talk to him were also thrilled to get to now him better. Reading the gospel stories is a great way to get to know the person of Jesus.

In John's gospel Jesus healed a man blind from birth. Jesus asked him if he believed in the son of man and he replied "Who is he, sir, because I would like to." Jesus replied, "You have seen him and he is speaking to you!" The man said "Yes Lord, I believe!" and he worshiped Jesus.

This man was born blind but became able to see through Jesus and today we too are often spiritually blind and again only Jesus can make us see.
